AGENDA March 13, 2008

Follow up on last months projects:

Shopping for the canteen (Joanne and LeeAnne) We must renew our membership in order to get a new card signer,
this will be renewed when we do shopping for tryouts or the first main stock shopping.
Donna- Bulletin Board - coming along nicely
Kathy P-Initial List designed for team mom’s – completed and ready for the team mom meeting
Bridget- Volunteer forms – coming along, half of the league still must complete the form.
Once all the forms are in, Bridget may need help finding out correct information.
Bridget- Canteen Menu - adding a few items and prices still must be evaluate
Christine C- Mothers Day Flowers – did not hear anything and will look into this
Photo Album -still need help
Revise Canteen Rules Lee – completed and is ready for the canteen.
Lee-web research, donations, LA contacts, Why Volunteer forms outstanding, fire truck for opening day,
picnic sign ups paperwork, team mom agenda - all completed, working on closing and opening checklist and researching tax exempt information
Chrissy- candle fundraiser – no update at this time
Kim H-local phone calls for donations – all items from last year are updated, calls still must be made.

Volunteers welcome for

TLC CREW: help still needed prior to opening day – the water is on and we can start cleaning, if you are available to assist please let LeeAnne know.
Tryout canteen help is needed.

Opening day schedule will be picked out of a hat the shifts will be somewhere between 3.5 hrs – 4hr. TBD
2 Large crock pots needed – Kathy and Bridget will bring them for tryouts Thank you ladies

Discuss raffle baskets update. If logo wear is available opening day we will not be doing raffle baskets, update to follow

Eleven year old tournament update - the dates would be July 17th -28th. Those available during this time frame and available such as two day etc.
This is a great opportunity for us and a very important event for our league to hold. We need as many volunteers as we can get,
PLEASE let LeeAnne know if you are available to assist (by April 5th) Thank you in advance for your support!!!

Burger King Family Night(s) - Will be held on April 7th and 8th. Coupons will be given to each team mom during the team mom meeting(s).
Coupons must be presented at the time of purchases.

Team mom meeting updates – Ponies and T-ball meeting will be held March 31st and Inter, Major and Softball will be held April 1st.
The meetings will be held at 8pm in the clubhouse. Please review you schedules to see if you are able to assist during either one of the meetings.
We need three LA women to join us to show our support to each team mom. Please let us know your availability.

Reviewed and made changes, Chrissy will type up a revised WELCOME letter and LeeAnne will type up and review the Volunteer Ck list.

2008 Canteen Assistants - discuss further

Designate projects as needed at our next meeting

Prior to opening day: Canteen, restrooms, Equipment room, Trailer, Clubhouse, painting and cleaning - will discuss further at our next meeting
Closing canteen is a timely process: walls, lights, counters, shelves, freezers, fridge, and each piece of equipment, floors, and mats

Opening day each team will be assigned a 4 hr shift (approx) in the canteen, in which they will have to provide coverage for their assigned shift.
The shifts MAY look like this 8am -12pm, 12pm-4pm and 4pm-8pm. - DISCUSSED and each team will be updated as needed
